Jurnal ICMES: The Journal of Middle East Studies welcomes original research articles on the Middle East, covering politics, international relations, economics, security, culture, and history. Manuscripts may be submitted in Bahasa Indonesia or English.

Before submitting, authors should read About the Journal, the Author Guidelines, and the journal’s publication ethics and other relevant policies. Manuscripts must follow the journal’s template and referencing requirements.

Submissions must be original, must not have been previously published, and must not be under consideration by another journal. Authors should prepare an anonymised manuscript for double-blind peer review by removing names, affiliations, and other identifying information from the manuscript and its file properties. Author details should be entered separately in the submission metadata.

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. New users must register before submitting. Registered users may log in to submit a manuscript, track its progress, and upload revisions.
